Who is responsible

What we collect, and why

When you contact us. The contact form asks for your name, your email address, what you need and your message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to write. We use it to answer you and, if you want to work with us, to prepare an offer. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (GDPR article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries (article 6(1)(f)).

When you visit the site. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs — such as IP address, browser and the page requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We also count visits with a privacy-friendly analytics tool that uses no cookies and does not identify or follow individual visitors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website and understanding which pages are useful (article 6(1)(f)).

Cookies

This site does not set cookies, and it loads no advertising or tracking scripts. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so visiting the site does not send your details to Google or anyone else.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of providers that process data on our behalf, under data processing agreements:

Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA) receives contact-form submissions and forwards them to our inbox. Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA) hosts the website and provides the visit counting. Where data leaves the EU/EEA, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

We never sell personal data or share it for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to follow up — at most 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case the correspondence becomes part of the client relationship and is kept as long as accounting and contract law require. Hosting logs are deleted automatically after a short period.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive it in a portable format. Email contact@solytz.com and we will reply within one month.

If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
